ExamNet

ExamNet is a Mobile and Web App that helps Primary School Students (grade 5, 6 and 7 in specific) improve their education knowledge and problem-solving skills by attempting different tests through the App. The tests are on the five essential subjets i.e. Mathematics, English, Kiswahili, Science and Social Studies; and are prepared as per the National Examination Council of Tanzania - NECTA's format and guidelines. A team of qualified and experienced teachers (authors) prepare the tests then another team of teachers (moderators) thoroughly check and confirm if the questions have met all the required standards before getting published to the platform. The tests are available in English and Swahili languages to cater for both Public and Private Schools students.

ExamNet was launched on both Google Play Store and App Store on 1st May of 2020.

National Examninations Council of Tanzania

The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) is Government Institution which was established by the Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973. NECTA is responsible for the administration of all National Examinations in Tanzania.

Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) was established by the Act of Parliament No. 7 of 1986 as the successor to the Tanzania National Scientific Research Council (UTAFITI) as a parastatal organization with the responsibility of coordinating and promoting research and technology development activities in the country.

Tanzania Education Authority

Tanzania Education Authority (TEA) was established under section 5 (1) of the Education Fund Act No.8 of 2001 to manage the Education Fund. The Fund was established under the same Act with the intention of supplementing the Government's efforts in financing education development in all levels of education in Tanzania Mainland, and financing tertiary levels of education to Zanzibar.
